Solo Piano Recital

A full evening program, typically 75-90 minutes with intermission. Available in standard or thematic formats, including the flagship Bach to BlackNotes program.

Chamber Music Duo

Collaborative chamber programs, including violin and piano duo repertoire with the Kalish/Walker Duo and other chamber formats by request.

Lecture-Recital

Any recital program presented with spoken context integrated into the performance. Ideal for universities, cultural organizations, and audiences being introduced to the repertoire.

School & Community Program

Shorter, adaptable programs for schools, libraries, community centers, and civic institutions that bring classical music into direct conversation with the audience in the room.

Masterclass

Public or private masterclass for piano students. Can be combined with a performance or offered as a standalone engagement.

Multi-Day Residency

One to three days combining performance, public masterclass, lecture, and student workshops, shaped around the institution and its audience.

Short Biography

Kyle P. Walker

Kyle P. Walker is a concert pianist, educator, and cultural curator whose programs connect the classical canon with Black musical history, American identity, and overlooked voices. A faculty member at NYU Steinhardt and Kaufman Music Center, he has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, The Apollo Theater, and South by Southwest (SXSW), and has been featured by NPR, PBS, CNN, WQXR, and The Greene Space.

His recital programs and residencies combine performance, storytelling, and community engagement for organizations seeking concerts with both artistic depth and public relevance. Walker is a founding member of The Dream Unfinished and an active member of The Harlem Chamber Players.

Walker is available for extended residency programs at universities, conservatories, and arts organizations. These residencies can include performance, public masterclass, lecture, student instruction, and community engagement over one to three days.
