Kyle P. Walker is featured in Orchestrated, a documentary film examining questions of access, representation, and cultural ownership in classical music.

The film charts the unknown story of the first full-time African American symphony orchestra in the context of a century-long Black struggle for an equal place in classical music. It follows Kyle P. Walker on a quest to uncover the lost traces of this audacious project, connect to living witnesses, and understand why this critical chapter of shared history has vanished.

Bach to BlackNotes

Active

Bach to BlackNotes is both a concert program and a recording initiative tracing the evolution of keyboard writing from J.S. Bach through the piano music of Black American composers.

The program is available for booking as a solo recital. A recording project is in development.
